1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix |

Red pepper ** |
| Chili Powder ** |
Garlic Powder ** |
| Hot sauce ** |
1 Cup of water |

|
* - the rule that I try to follow is one potato for each person plus one extra
potato. When cooking for myself, I fixed four to five, depending on the
size, potatoes.
** - To taste
Place the potatoes on the bottom of a crock pot.
After trimming the excess fat from the roast, put it in the crock pot and fill
the sides with extra potatoes, onions and carrots. Season the roast with
the Mrs. Dash, Dry onion soup mix, paprika, etc.
Turn the crock pot on low right before you leave for work.
When you get home, take the roast, potatoes, carrots, and onions out. Take
the drippings and mix with flour and water to make gravy.
