INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. Ground Beef* 1 Bay Leaf (Crumbled)
1 Med. Onion (finely chopped) 1 Tablespoon Mrs. Dash**
1 Med. Green Pepper (chopped) 1 Teaspoon Basil**
2 Envelops Italian Spaghetti Sauce Mix with Mushrooms 1/4 Teaspoon Mustard**
2 Cloves Garlic 1/2 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning**
2 Cans (15 oz. each) Tomato Sauce 1/2 Tablespoon Paprika**
2 Cans (12 oz. each) Tomato Paste 1 Tablespoon Parsley Flakes**
1 Teaspoon Oregano 1/2 Teaspoon Chili Power**
2 Cups Water 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper**
1 Dash Tabasco Sauce** 1 Tablespoon Sugar**
1 Jalapeno chopped** Dash of Grape Juice

Brown ground beef with onion and green pepper added.  After beef is browned, add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 and half hours.

To make less, just half all the ingredients.

One idea for the leftovers is to divide the leftovers into one meal size container and freeze.  Then when you need a quick meal, defrost and heat.

* You can substitute ground turkey, venison, moose, or elk for the ground beef.  Or can use any combination of the ground meats.

** Optional ingredients.  Fill free to experiment by adding combination of ingredients that you like.

I got this recipe from Mrs. Carlos Henry when I was living in McMinnville, TN.
