THE THREE BAPTISMS IN MATTHEW 3:11

Text: Matthew 3:7-12
Introduction:
  I. In verse 11 of our text, John talks about three
     different baptisms.
 II. They are:
     A. John’s baptism.
     B. Holy Spirit baptism.
     C. Baptism of Fire.
III. Let us take a look at each one of them.

  I. John’s baptism.
     A. The element – Water.  Matthew 3:11.
     B. Subjects:
        1. Penitent Jews.  Mark 1:4-5
        2. The “you” in Matthew 3:11 is not all-inclusive.
           a. Pharisees and Sadducees
