 I. The city of Thyatira.

       Acts 16:13-15).

feasts in honor of its god.

             been sacrificed to its god.

the Christians in Thyatira were to listen to
           Him.
        2. He is the way to the Father (John 14:6).
        3. He is infallible.
     B. “Eyes like a flame of fire.”
        1. This shows His omniscience that His eyes are
penetrating and burning deeply into the heart
and soul of every congregation and member
           thereof.
        2. Example of the song: “There is an All-Seeing
           Eye…”
        3. Illustration of man stealing corn and looked
North, East, South, and West and his son said,
“Dad, did you look up?” We need to be like his
           son.
     C. “Feet like fine brass.”
        1. This shows His strength.
        2. He is able to trample under His feet all the
           evil that His eyes sees.
     D. “I know” – He has fill and complete knowledge.

     C. Service (Ministry)
        1. Should be more concern about serving than being
           served.
        2. Example of some church members who when sick
complaining that the “preacher didn’t come and
see me.” Don’t worry about being pampered, but
           more about…

worship Baal and had God’s prophets killed
and the tearing down of the alters of God.
           b. She was a depraved character who was a highly
persuasive person who utilized whatever means
she had available, however, unscrupulous to
accomplish her purpose and to reach her goal.
        2. The Jezebel of the New Testament.

fornication and to eat things sacrificed to
              idols.
