Chart #85 Man's Faith is Imputed to Him For Righteousness, Not the Righteousness of Christ!!

1. "Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness." Romans 4:3
2. "...his faith is counted for righteousness." Romans 4:5
3. "...we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness." Romans 4:9
4. "...That righteousness might be imputed to them also;...who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham..." Romans 4:11-12
5. "And therefore it (his strong faith, verses 20, H. S.) was imputed to him for righteousness." Romans 4:22
6. Our faith will also be imputed unto us...:
   a. "if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead." Romans 4:24
   b. If we "walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham." Romans 4:12
7. The faith imputed to Abraham for righteousness was an obedient faith. James 2:20-24
8. Likewise the faith imputed unto us for righteousness is an obedient faith. See also Galatians 5:6
