Chart #74 My Opponents Theology of God As Necessitated By
His Doctrine
- A God who created Adam and Eve sinless, but who fore-ordained that they
sin and sent Satan to accomplish that purpose.
- A God who imputes the guilt of Adam's sin to the soul of every baby born
to the human family, though they themselves have not sinned.
- A God who punishes persons for sin they did not commit.
- A God who has limited His Sovereign Grace to only a few.
- A God who is a respecter of persons.
- A God who is responsible for those who are lost.
- A God who calls, but will not let you come.
- A God who fore-ordains that some steal, kill, lie, commit adultery, etc.,
and then punishes them for it.
- A God who fore-ordained that some specific individuals will be lost and
created Satan and sin bring it about.
- Hence, A God who has Satan as His best worker.
- A God who is the author of all evil.
Chart #75 My Opponent Is Here Fighting the Will of God!!
- His position requires that God predestinated some for Hell, before they
were born, and fixed "sin" to cause them to go there.
NOTICE: He says the doctrine I teach is false, therefore those who believe
it are in sin. So it must be the will of God for me to preach
it, so that those who obey it will go to Hell where God purposed that they
would go. If this is true, he is fighting God's will when he tries
to keep people from obeying what I teach.
- His position teaches that God predestinated some for Heaven, before they
were born, and fixed the means, ("the righteousness of Christ") to
cause them to go there.
NOTICE: Since the commandments of God are righteousness, Psalms
119:172, and the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation, Romans
1:16. If I preach the truth and he fights it, he is fighting the
will of God to save those he purposed to save.
According to My Opponent's Position, He is Fighting the Will of God One
Way or the Other!!
Chart #76 Consequences of My Opponent's Position.
- Makes God a respecter of persons. Cf. Acts 10:34-35
- Makes God responsible for those who are lost.
- Makes God have Christ shed his blood for the salvation which was already
certain. Hence, Christ's blood affected their destiny in no way
whatsoever. Hence, Christ died in vain.
- If my opponent denies the consequences and says that Christ's death was
necessary: Then,
a. Christ did not shed His blood for every man, because some will be
lost. Cf. Hebrews 2:9; Matthew 7:13-14
b. Thus, he limits the power of blood of Christ as inadequate for all.
c. Otherwise, he is forced to universal salvation or must take the
position that salvation is conditional on man's part.
- There is nothing that man can do in anyway to affect his salvation,
therefore there is no need teach, worship, pray, pay, attend, etc.
- There is no need for the gospel message, since it cannot change man's
destiny.
- Limits God's Sovereign Grace to only a few.
