Proposition No. 1., First Night:
"The issue on the subject of salvation is, whether it is conditional or unconditional.  I affirm that it is unconditional."

1. "Salvation": The deliverance from the guilt of sin, or the deliverance from the wrath of God which otherwise would result in going to hell.
2. 2. "Unconditional": Not subject to something the sinner does, or not conditioned upon works done by the sinner himself.

1. I am not denying God's wisdom.

3. I am not denying God's foreknowledge.
4. I am not denying that God saves whom He will.
5. I am not denying God's power to cause whatsoever he may purpose to come to pass.
6. I am not denying that God purposed, predestinated that certain things would come to pass, that his will might be fulfilled.
7. I am not denying that God did show his power in various ways in times past and men suffered because of disobedience.
8. I am not denying that God has used means and influence upon man to accomplish His purposes.
9. I am not denying that God has an elect people.
10. I am not denying God's Sovereign Grace.

Chart #3 - I Am Denying:

1. That God has willed to save individuals separate and apart from conditions to be met on man's part.
