Adam and Eve -- (The Original Branches)
1. Adam was the son of God (Luke 3:38).
2. Adam was made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26).
3. Adam and Eve broke through the divine law and transgressed the law of God
(Genesis 3:3).
4. Their transgression was sin and death (Romans 5:12).
5. In 2 Corinthians 11:3 the Apostle Paul applies the lesson of the apostasy of
the first pair to us by expressing the fear that as the serpent beguiled Eve,
"so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity of that is in
Christ."

Election Does Not Unconditionally Secure Eternal Salvation.
1. Abraham elected to be father of faithful (Galatians 3:7-16; Genesis
12:3).
a. Blessed because of faith (Galatians 3:6; Romans 4:3,
9, 21-22).
2. Isaac Elected (Genesis 21:12; Romans 9:7).
3. Jacob Elected (Genesis 28:14; Isaiah 41:8).
4. Judah Elected (Hebrews 7:14; Revelations 5:5).
5. Moses and Aaron chosen to lead people out of Egypt (Psalm 106:23; 105:26).
a. Failed to enter Canaan (Numbers 20:12; Deuteronomy
4:21-22; 34:4-5).
6. Saul Chosen King (1 Samuel 10:24).
a. God rejected him because he rejected the Word of God
(1 Samuel 15:22-23).
7. Children of Israel chosen to be God's people (Isaiah 44:1; 45:4; Exodus 3:7,
10; Deuteronomy 4:20, 37; 10:15; 14:2; 7:6-8).
a. Required obedience - Exodus 19:3-8; 1 Kings 9:6-7.
b. God displeased with many - 1 Corinthians 10:5.
c. 3000 fell for idolatry - Exodus 32:28.
d. 24,000 fell for fornication - Numbers 25:9; 1
Corinthians 10:9.
e. Many destroyed of serpents - Numbers 1 Corinthians 10:9.
f. A general destruction - Isaiah 1:5-7.
g. They could not enter in because of unbelief -
Hebrews 3:19.
h. Paul prayed for the salvation of Israel - Romans
10:1-3.
i. Serve as an example for us - 1 Corinthians 10:5-12.
j. Christians are to labor lest they fall after the
same example of unbelief - Hebrews 4:11.
