3. Whether or not the power to save is in the Water.
4. Whether or not we are saved by the blood of Christ.
5. Whether or not we are saved by Faith.

What is the Issue?

1. How the blood of Christ is applied to the alien for remission of sins.
2. When the blood of Christ is applied to the alien for remission of sins.
3. By what means the blood of Christ is applied to the alien for remission of sins.

What I am Affirming:

1. That the blood of Christ is applied to the alien sinner for the remission of sins when one is baptized into Christ, in obedience to the command of our Lord.

What My Opponent Must Do to Disprove My Proposition:

Since he says that the blood is not applied for the remission of sins when one is baptized into Christ,  then he must present the passage which teaches how, when, and by what means the blood is applied for the remission of sins.
