The Believer of John 3:16

  I. The Bible teaches that the believer will be saved.
     A. The Bible teaches that the believer is saved. Romans 
        1:16
     B. The Bible teaches that the believer is justified. Romans 
        5:1
     C. The Bible teaches that the believer has access to God’s 
        grace. Romans 5:2
     D. The Bible teaches that the believer has a purified 
        heart. Acts 15:9
     E. The Bible teaches that the believer has the remission of 
        sins. Acts 10:43
     F. The Bible teaches that the believer has eternal life. 
        John 3:16
     G. The Bible teaches that the believer shall not perish. 
        John 3:16
     H. The Bible teaches that the believer is born again. 1 
        John 5:1
     I. These are all the same kind of believer, the kind of 
        believer mentioned in John 3:16
 II. The Bible teaches that some believers will be:
     A. Lost:
        1. Devils believed and trembled James 2:19
        2. Believing rulers. John 12:42
        3. The believer that errs from the truth. 2 Timothy 
           2:15-19
        4. The believer that makes shipwreck of the faith. 1 
           Timothy 1:20
        5. The believer who departs from the faith. 1 Timothy

III. What kind of believer then is saved?
     A. The same kind of believer as in John 3:16
        1. Those who come to God in faith. Hebrews 11:6; John 
           6:44-45; Matthew 11:28
        2. Those who have a pure heart. Matthew 5:8; Acts 15:9
        3. A justified believer. Romans 5:1-2; 1 Corinthians 
           6:11; Romans 3:20-26; Ephesians 5:26-27.
        4. A believer who works by love. Galatians 5:6; Romans 
           10:1-4; James 2:19-24; Philippians 2:12
        5. One that is saved by the Gospel. Romans 1:16; Mark 
           16:15-16
        6. One that is saved by grace. Ephesians 2:5
        7. The relationship of grace and the Gospel is shown:

Conclusion:
1. To be a believer only without obedience to the Gospel, that 
   makes shipwreck of your faith, and that would depart from 
   your faith, you will be lost.
2. To be a believer that comes to God, purifies his heart by 
   faith, works by love, justified by faith, a believer of the 
   Gospel, and a baptized believer is a saved believer, or the 
   kind of believer that John 3:16 is talking about, a believer 
   with eternal life.
