Chart #47 Judas Iscariot - A Case of Apostasy

  1. Some contend that Judas was a devil from the beginning, but there is no passage in the Bible that so reads, nor from which a conclusion can be drawn.  Let my opponent endeavor to prove that Judas was a devil from the beginning.

    a. Judas was a disciple of Christ -- Matthew 10:1
    b. Judas was an apostle of Christ -- Matthew 10:2
    c. Judas was given power -- Matthew 10:8
    d. Judas was given to Christ -- John 17:12
    e. Judas was a sheep -- Matthew 10:16
